a little piece of American farming history, made into something new!

made from two original 100 lb. KENT Poultry Feed sacks from the Mississippi Valley Grain & Feed Co. of Muscatine, Iowa. These beauties feature incredible oversized red KENT lettering, faded blue typography, and the sweetest little black hen surrounded by yellow baby chicks.

the original graphics are especially wonderful, with the slogan "A GOLD MINE IN YOUR FEED LOT" stamped inside a red circle and the company's tagline, "The Pioneer Builder of Feeds Without a Filler," printed along the bottom. all that old advertising, typography, and color preserved in one pair of pants!

I especially love the contrast between the bold, faded red graphics and the soft, naturally aged cotton. The design places the full original feed sack artwork down one leg, while the other is left beautifully simple, letting the typography and illustrations really shine. Finished with a comfortable elastic waist and an easy, wide-leg silhouette.

A wonderfully worn, one-of-a-kind piece of agricultural history, ready for another lifetime of adventures!

size: L-XL / 33"-40" waist / 36.5" length (note: these pants are very forgiving • designed to comfortably fit a wider range of bodies than the letter size suggests)

sewn: 10/8 in California in over 5 hours
